Today is your first day

Welcome to Team Rephrased. Shared day-one steps are below. Then open your tab. Setup and weekly workflow are the same on every first-day page.

Not sure which tab? Ask your lead.

Quick start (everyone)

1. Clone the GitHub repo and confirm Rephrased_Demo.uproject is at the root.
2. Install UE 5.8 and Visual Studio 2026 (.vsconfig at repo root). See Developer setup.
3. Programming engineers: generate Rephrased_Demo.sln, build Development Editor | Win64, press F5 — details on the Engineering tab.
4. Designers and artists: run [OpenAfterPull]Build_Project.bat — see Building Rephrased.
5. Open Rune Showcase in Content/Levels/, press Play, confirm movement works.
6. If anything fails, check Saved/Logs/ and ask your lead before changing project files.

Optional for all disciplines: Setup tab for coding agents (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity) and ChatGPT project files.
